Pineapple Green Smoothie (from EatingWell.com)
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
1 cup baby spinach
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
Directions
Add almond milk and Greek yogurt. Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
Creamy Green Smoothie (from OrganicFitnessMama.com)
Ingredients
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 cup cream or an additional 1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 large or 1/2 small frozen banana, sliced
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 heaping teaspoon date paste or raw honey
1 heaping cup raw spinach
1/4 cup ice
1/4 avocado
Directions
Blend all ingredients except for the avocado until smooth. Add the avocado and blend on low to medium until creamy and well combined.
Blueberry Muffin Protein Smoothie (from ASweetPeaChef.com)
Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 frozen banana
1/4 cup rolled oats
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Directions
Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. If smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk. If you want to thicken, add more ice.
Mango, Berry & Banana Smoothie (from BonAppetit.com)
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
2 Medjool dates, pitted
1 cup frozen mango chunks
3/4 cup coconut water
1/2 cup frozen blackberries or blueberries
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
Directions
Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Orange Ginger Turmeric Smoothie (from OrganicFitnessMama.com)
Ingredients
1/4 cup orange kombucha
1/4 cup cream, coconut milk or almond milk
1/2 medium orange peeled and seeded
1.5–2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled
1.5–2 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled
1/2 large frozen banana
1/2 cup ice
Directions
Blend until smooth. May need a high-powered blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec to achieve a smooth consistency.
