These smoothies are simple to make — place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Super Green Spirulina Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 medium ripe banana (previously peeled and frozen)
1/2 cup sliced cucumber (skin on)
3/4 to 1 cup light coconut milk (or your choice of milk — use less for thicker smoothie, more for thinner smoothie)
1 cup spinach or chopped kale
1 teaspoon spirulina powder
1 tablespoon hemp seed (or substitute chia seeds)
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon dry chia seeds
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 1/2 cups seedless red or purple grapes
1/2 cup blueberries
1 teaspoon flax seed oil
1/2 cup water
